Peacefully in his sleep on 19th July 2026 in Whanganui Hospital,  aged 79 years.
Loved husband of the late Marion.
Father and father-in-law of Tony and Nicola, Paul (deceased), and Jo and Miles.
Opa of James, Grace, Rachael, Luke, Willow; Jack; and Colton.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Jan at the Westmere Presbyterian Memorial Church Whanganui, on Sunday, 26th July 2026 at 12.30pm.
Jan will be buried with Marion in the Heights Park Cemetery, Heights Rd Pukekohe next Saturday 1st August 2026 at 11.00am.
Friends and family are welcome to attend.

Jan has been a part of our Cafe family for many years now. We have shared all of his highs and lows along with plenty of apple rhubarb slice, punnets of chips and Irish Coffees! He had a great relationship with us all and we will really miss his company, sense of humor and banter. RIP Jan, you will be sadly missed by us all.
