Dempsey and Forrest - 208 Guyton Street Whanganui
After a courageous seven-month battle with cancer, passed away peacefully at Whanganui Hospital on Friday 17 July 2026, with his loving wife Colleen and sons Aaron and Paul by his side.
Aged 75 years.
Treasured husband, best friend and partner in crime of Colleen for 54 years.
Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Aaron and Nita, and Paul and Jodi. Adored Pop to the three biggest loves of his life – Ziva, and Dexter and Theia.
Loved middle brother of late Robert (Bob), and Clayton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Whanganui would be appreciated and may be left at the service.
A service to celebrate the life of this true Whanganui Old Fart will be held at Dempsey & Forrest, 208 Guyton Street Whanganui, on Thursday, 23 July 2026 at 1.30 pm, followed by a private cremation.
